EP8500 Series EPON OLT is a new generation high-end multi-service OLT equipment for converged communications newwork released by Guangda company, it is also a high-end routing switch. EP8500 OLT series includes EP8510 (10-slot),EP8506E (6-slot) and EP8503 (3-slot) three models.

EP8500 Series product uses rack mount structure, it is composed of a frame, a main control card, a business card and other main parts. A single card can support 16 pon ports, the whole set can support 128 pon ports. The product is based on GDIOS operation system with Guangda Electronic intellectual property rights, integrated with MPLS,IPv6,network safety,EPON passive optical network and so on multi-service, it provides uninterrupted transmit,graceful restart,ring protect and many other high reliable techniques. These techniques obviously increased the max uptime of the network, it can greatly improve user’s production efficiency.
