EPON/GEPON OLT EP8500 Series
EPON OLT EP8500 Series is a new generation high-end multi-service access OLT equipment for converged communications network which is manufactured by our Guangda company. Meanwhile, it is also a distributed high-end routing switch. EP8500 OLT series includes EP8510 (10-slot), EP8506E (6-slot) and EP8503 (3-slot) three models.
EP8500 OLT series uses rack mount structure. It is composed of a machine frame, a main control card, a business and other parts. A single card can maximum support 16 PON port. The whole set can maximum support 128 PON port. The product is based on GDIOS operation system with our own Guangda proprietary intellecture property rights, it is combined with MPLS, IPv6, network safety, EPON passive optical network and so on multi-service. It provides uninterrupted transmit, graceful restart, ring network protection and other reliable technologies. These technologies obviously have increased the maximum network uptime and have improved the users’ production efficiency.
